Edge City Films produces feature films for the international market. Completed projects include Skeletons (Nick Whitfield, 2010), Lore (Cate Shortland, 2012), Lost In France (Niall McCann, 2017) and Winners (Hasan Nazer, 2022).

Alongside production, ECF’s lead producer Paul Welsh has consulted extensively on development and production for international funds and training initiatives including UK Digital Shorts, BFI Network and Screen Australia’s Springboard Programme.

Two of the company’s features have been selected to compete for the Oscars, Best International Film (Lore, Australia 2013 & Winners, United Kingdom 2023). With BAFTA, BIFA, AACTA, LOLA and multiple international festival nominations and awards for its output, ECF is one of the most creatively and critically successful boutique film production companies in the UK.
